2. December 2019 HO Base Construction Continues.

Construction continued throughout December 2019, with the completion of the framing the next stage was to measure and cut the base boards

The baseboards were cut from 12mm construction plywood.

1. December 2019 HO Base Construction Begins

Construction began at the beginning of December 2019 with the installation of base board support framing.

The layout is 1300mm off the floor to allow for future storage tracks for the G gauge trains to be installed underneath the layout.

The framing is made of the same hardwood planking used on the Ringbalin Light Railway G Division layout, https://ringbalin-light-railway.blogspot.com/p/blog-page.html over which 12mm plywood base boards will be laid.

The space at the extreme left will be left open for access
